Terms of Service

The terms for using Fluent.

These terms explain the rules, responsibilities, and limits that apply when you use Fluent and its connected services.

What do these terms cover?

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Fluent website, Windows preview, self-hosted social publishing tools, and related services. By using Fluent, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Agreement and eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into these terms to use Fluent. If you use Fluent for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.

Fluent is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the service if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.

Fluent is preview software

Fluent is an evolving Windows control layer and may include experimental, incomplete, or changing features. The preview may fail, produce unexpected actions, lose availability, or change without preserving compatibility.

You are responsible for reviewing proposed actions and outputs before relying on them. Do not use the preview as the sole control for emergency, medical, safety-critical, financial, legal, or other high-consequence activity.

Accounts, credentials, and security

You are responsible for activity performed through your Fluent account and for keeping passwords, API keys, social-account credentials, recovery methods, and connected devices secure. Tell us promptly if you believe an account or credential has been compromised.

You may connect third-party accounts only when you own them or have clear permission to administer them. Do not share credentials through public posts, issue trackers, or other insecure channels.

Acceptable use

Use Fluent lawfully and in a way that respects other people, services, and systems. You may not use Fluent to violate rights, evade platform restrictions, distribute malware, send unlawful spam, deceive people about identity or origin, interfere with service operation, or attempt unauthorized access.

You may not use Fluent to publish content or automate activity that violates the rules of a connected platform. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect people, the service, or third-party systems.

Your content and instructions

You keep ownership of content, prompts, media, and other material you provide. You grant Fluent a limited permission to process, store, transmit, format, and publish that material only as needed to provide the features you request, maintain the service, and comply with law.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for the content and instructions you submit. You are responsible for reviewing scheduled posts, generated material, recipients, timing, and audience settings before publication.

Connected social platforms and other services

Fluent may connect to services such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and hosted planning providers. When you authorize a connection, you instruct Fluent to access the approved account data and perform the actions you select, such as uploading, scheduling, or publishing content.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, technical limits, and review processes. Fluent does not control their availability, moderation, API decisions, account restrictions, or changes. You can revoke a connection through Fluent or the third-party service, subject to the controls each service provides.

Privacy and data handling

The Fluent Privacy and Safety page describes how voice, text, optional gaze context, hosted planning, account credentials, and Windows actions are handled. That disclosure is incorporated into these terms by reference.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Fluent complies with privacy, employment, communications, accessibility, and data-protection obligations that apply to you and the people whose information you process.

Fluent materials and feedback

Fluent, its visual identity, software, documentation, and site content are owned by their respective rights holders and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you permission to use the service, not ownership of Fluent materials.

If you provide feedback, you allow Fluent to use it without restriction or payment. This does not transfer ownership of your separate content, private data, inventions, or confidential information.

Changes, suspension, and termination

Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed as the preview develops. You may stop using Fluent at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations of these terms, security risk, legal requirements, third-party platform restrictions, or discontinuation of the service.

Sections that by their nature should continue after termination remain effective, including ownership, disclaimers, limits of liability, and responsibility for prior use.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fluent is provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, suitable for a particular purpose, or compatible with every device, application, accessibility need, social platform, or workflow.

Generated text, plans, classifications, and automated actions may be incomplete or wrong. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs and for decisions made using them.

Limits of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fluent and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, opportunities, or business interruption arising from use of the service.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where a limitation is not enforceable, it applies only to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.

Changes to these terms and contact

These terms may be updated as Fluent changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when an update is published. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms.

Questions about these terms, account access, or removal requests can be sent to admin@fluentforall.com.

Direct answers

Questions people ask before trying Fluent.

Do I keep ownership of posts and media I upload?
Yes. You keep ownership of your content. Fluent receives only the limited permission needed to process and publish it according to your instructions.
Do the rules of TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and other platforms still apply?
Yes. Each connected platform has its own terms, policies, permissions, and review requirements. You must comply with those rules in addition to these terms.
Can I disconnect a social account?
Yes. You can remove a connection in Fluent or revoke its authorization through the connected platform, subject to the controls that platform provides.
How do I ask about my account or these terms?
Email admin@fluentforall.com with enough detail to identify the request without sending passwords or API keys.
